Timeless Bridal Hair and Makeup at Ramster Hall, Surrey

Rina’s wedding at Ramster Hall was just beautiful and so romantic. Tucked away in the Surrey countryside, Ramster Hall has this quiet charm about it - old brick, lush gardens and winding paths - and Rina’s bridal look suited it beautifully.

Rina wanted her bridal hair and makeup to feel elegant and timeless, but still soft. Nothing too heavy, nothing too dramatic - just a refined version of herself that would feel comfortable from the ceremony right through to the celebrations.

Nicky made sure her makeup was fresh and luminous, with natural warmth through the skin and softly defined eyes. The overall finish enhanced her features without overpowering them, allowing her smile (which was constant all day) to do most of the talking. It photographed beautifully both indoors in the softer light and outside among the greenery.

For her hair, Rina chose a classic low updo, softly structured with gentle movement around the face. A delicate hair accessory was placed into the bun, adding just the right amount of detail without taking away from the overall simplicity. It was polished and graceful - a style that will look just as beautiful in twenty years’ time as it does now.

Her bridesmaids complemented the look perfectly in soft dusky blue dresses, each styled in a way that felt cohesive but still individual. The overall effect was elegant and harmonious, especially against the garden backdrop at Ramster Hall.

One of our favourite photos from the day is the one of Rina and her husband walking hand in hand along the tree-lined driveway. Her hair and makeup held beautifully, and she looked completely at ease - which is always the goal. When a bride feels comfortable and confident, it shows in every photograph.
