Sarah's Beautiful Bridal Hair & Makeup at Clock Barn

There’s just something about a Clock Barn wedding. The exposed brick, the countryside setting, that relaxed but still elegant feel… it’s the kind of venue where everything just works without trying too hard. Sarah’s wedding was exactly that - warm, joyful, and completely her.
When Natasha started chatting with Sarah about her Clock Barn bridal hair and makeup, she was really clear on one thing: she still wanted to look like herself. No heavy makeup, just soft, glowing, and natural. Honestly, that’s exactly what suits a Clock Barn wedding best anyway.
We kept her skin really fresh and radiant, with that healthy glow that looks amazing both in real life and in photos. Her eyes were softly defined to bring them out without taking over, and everything was blended in a way that felt effortless. It’s that balance brides are usually searching for - polished, but not over the top.
Her hair was all about softness too. Loose curls with a bit of movement, nothing too fixed, and a delicate accessory to finish it off. It framed her face beautifully and worked so well with her dress and the overall feel of the day. The kind of style that still looks just as good after a few hours of hugs, dancing, and a bit of Hampshire breeze.
The bridesmaids’ deep green dresses were such a good choice - they looked incredible against the rustic backdrop of Clock Barn. We kept their hair and makeup in the same soft, romantic style, but tweaked each look slightly so everyone still felt like themselves. That’s always the aim - cohesive, but not identical.
One of my favourite parts of the morning was Sarah’s mum getting ready. She had the most amazing hat and such a lovely, relaxed energy - you could just tell how excited she was. Those moments in the getting-ready room are always so special, and having everything run calmly makes such a difference to how the whole morning feels.
And then, of course, the confetti moment. Walking out into the sunshine, everyone cheering - those are the photos you come back to again and again. It’s exactly why we focus on making sure hair and makeup lasts, not just looks good at the start.
If you’re getting married at Clock Barn and you’re looking for a bridal hair and makeup artist, Sarah’s day is a perfect example of what works so well there. Soft, natural, glowing… nothing too heavy, nothing too structured. Just a really beautiful version of you.
That’s always the goal.
